Watching the slow decline of Firefox over the past 15 years has been like watching the final breaths of a beloved pet. Now I'm with Brave, and happy. But I can't deny that uneasiness feeling that we may end up with just Chromium derivatives and Webkit.

That Thailand is right now pushing CBDC on its citizens is appalling: a nation that had 20 constitutions since 1932, and is the 4ΒΊ in number of cups worldwide, is basically creating a non-anonymous ledger with fully traceable transactions, and KYC requirements. Just imagine if such a tool fall in the hands of an authoritarian? At least they went with the token based solution instead of the fully dystopian account based one.
