The Proto miner hardware seems like a real step-change for ASICs. The reusable rig is amazing, now just swap out hashboards. The modularity and openness (software and hardware) will allow everyone to do a lot more with them, and for a lot longer. The rig is part of the infrastructure. The upgrade path is so much easier
