Just a few months ago, I thought that there was no chance of Bitcoin hitting ATH or 100k before the halving.
Now that I expect it to happen, it probably won't.

The most regulated industries in the US also happen to be the most over priced, least innovative, and most frustrating to deal with industries.
I work in one of them, and the amount of asinine shit I have to regularly deal with in addition to doing my actual job is enough to make me want to quit. Wish we could get disrupted, but that ain't happening so long as the government exists.

Encryption for online privacy.
Even if Bitcoin adopters remain a minority over the long term, I would still consider that a success, albeit a little disappointing. The mere fact of Bitcoin's existence will influence some states to get their act together because of the risk of capital and talent flight to other jurisdictions.
