Adjusted for inflation, it looks like overall box office for theatrical movies is trending lower every year. None of these stories ever adjust for inflation. Ticket prices are higher and less people are going to the movies so the box office βseemsβ pretty high but thatβs not actually the case compared to 10,15, 20 years ago.
