It pains me to watch creators doing hard and meaningful work, hopping from one centralized platform to another in attempts to escape censureship and throttling and thinking "it'll be different there").

Mom just had some of her Church friends (3 of them) stop by.
I left the four of them alone in the living room.
Thirty minutes later, I could hear them praying and singing (in creole/French) from the office.
When they left, about 45 minutes later, one them told me not to worry about cooking. They know what Mom can eat and would be bringing her enough food for a few days tomorrow.
I'm currently on a 3-4 day fast. So, not having to meal prep or cook, helps in major ways.
I'll file this visit under the man upstairs helping a brother out.

As we get older, we see the increasing truth in this quote.
The $5 wrench attacker coming after whatever #BTC you might have, won't be from pookie the crackhead down the street.
Guns and dogs might sound like "sexie" measures. But for most of us, we're not built and schooled that way. Really, it's about factoring time and distance into your opsec.
