Notes on Internet Addiction

I grew up on the internet, and I love it, but something broke in me during the COVID era and its aftermath.

Once again, made me realise that im better off spending time and energy on a platform that doesnt have a finely tuned super algorithm to suck away my attention. What you give attention to is what grows. You dont grow if youre not in control of your own attention.

So a lot of us are here because of the bot problem on centralised social media and the inability to distinguish between what’s real and what’s not. Wouldn’t it be possible to generate new ids on nostr, give the private keys to an AI bot and have them post here ? I’m sure this is a naive question but would appreciate clarification #asknostr
