Does anyone know if there are any bots/clients/relays specifically posting the timechain blockheight as they validate new blocks?
GM I have just come across Scott Aaronson - fascinating individual with many decent and insightful takes, and some naΓ―ve, on a plethora of subjects. However, he has no understanding of why bitcoin is important except in a theoretic 'money' sense. We are still so early. Enjoy it while it lasts.
Certainty of death Small chance of success What are we waiting for?
I’m thinking we’re low-key(?) getting to a point where we either have to further centralize or truly decentralize computing enterprises. Like keep with the monoliths of old (hardware, OSes, DB, server farms, etc) or recreate everything a bit more dispersed. There is much that is decentralized already but there is far too much that is centralized or has strong centralizing forces (Email, DNS, Browsers, Apple, M$, AWS, Cloudflare, etc) The former provides convenience of interaction, simplicity of thought and structure, and imprisonment by ones own technological devices. The latter is the way to awkwardity of interaction and connectivity, complexity that requires learning and understanding, and freedom from tyrannical abuse.
