I love the Italian people, but damn… Italy has really put pineapple on the pizza with this one:
Trump's most obvious lie about Ukraine yet: When asked about the Ukraine peace deal, Trump again tried to drive a wedge between Zelenskyy and the Ukrainian people by falsely claiming the peace deal as it stands is loved by the Ukrainian people, but Zelenskyy had not even read it. This makes zero sense. How could the Ukrainian people love a peace deal, they do not know? There has been no poll about the deal which is not yet finished. As always, Trump's imagination is just freestyle rapping.
In my neighborhood, I often see parcel delivery trucks from 5 different transport companies wasting energy to drive to the same homes on the same day. This is unregulated capitalism. Then comes trash day, and 1 company arrives with 1 garbage truck and empties all the trash cans in 1 go. This is regulated capitalism. The municipality decided only 1 company could win the garbage truck service job. They offer up the job every couple of years, 1 company wins, and we all save CO2 emissions.
I wonder if European Volkswagen drivers in the 1940s drove around with a sign on their cars saying "I bought this before Hitler invaded Poland".
In my research I noticed two Nazi posters which are a striking reveal of their propagandist thinking. Picture 1: A poster used to encourage German factory workers depicts a German front line soldier and tells the workers, "Like we fight, you work towards victory". Picture 2: But a leaflet dropped over allied soldier positions shows an American front line soldier and an American factory worker, and tells the soldiers that factory workers at home make all the money, while they take all the risk.

Alejandro Carranza, father of four, was murdered by the US Navy, and now a human rights lawyer has filed a formal complaint with the IAHCR. NPR has the story: image
From 2015 to 2024, Europe has increased its military spending by 83 percent. It is mind-blowing what we could have done for health, climate change, and innovation, had it not been for Putin and his lackey in The Oval Office. Source: Sipri Fact Sheet
EU politicians are still paying money to this guy, to use the social medium he controls, where his algorithm decides which voters they reach or do not reach. image
We have changed. We used to buy Putin's oil, until he had enough billions to attack us. Now we buy Trump's weapons and pay his tariffs, until he has enough billions to take Greenland "one way or the other", make Canada "the 51st state", and turn Palestine into a new "Riviera". The longer we please Trump, the more money we pour into his war chest. He owns our data, controls our military tech, mass surveilles our citizens and has the world's most dangerous military. And yet we keep buying.
