Bitcoiners on Twitter/X vs Bitcoiners on Nostr
One thing that seems very obvious to me is that Bitcoiners on Twitter/X are either concerned much more with the price (why price down today?) or trying to explain the price action to others.
While Bitcoiners on Nostr seem to have much more conviction and less or not really even concerned at all about price. Love to see it!
#bitcoin #nostr
One of the reasons #bitcoin was huge for me was that I’m mid-50’s and sadly I’ve been a saver. I just never saw the point. Our system sure discourages it, but i accept some responsibility as well.
I’ve also always seen the stock market as a casino. I’ve loved tech for most of my life, but I’d never trust my “luck” betting on stocks.
Thankfully I found out about bitcoin for the second time in 2021 and bought some. (The first time was way back in 2010 - I worked in tech and thought, “money for the Internet, duh”, but obviously had no clue 😭).
Then I proceeded down the rabbit hole as we do and just couldn’t get enough. It was just the most fascinating story. I’d been a fan of Linux for years and saw many obvious parallels, but it’s even bigger and touches everything, as money does.
I couldn’t be more bullish and excited about the future, even though the world seems to be upside down and on fire, we have bitcoin 🥳❤️
And now it seems that open source software (and protocols) continues to change the world for the better with #nostr. What a time to be alive! LFG!! 🚀
One of the things I’m loving most about #nostr is the lack of stupid engagement farming posts that X was rife with and much more substance. Very refreshing. A much better signal to noise ratio.
