Trump calls on Intel CEO to resign over business dealings in China The CEO of US chip manufacturer Intel is under pressure: President Trump accuses Lip-Bu Tan of a serious conflict of interest, claiming that he has done business with a Chinese military university in the past. The stock market reacted promptly. My opinion: Intel is essential to US national security. The only Chip manufactory in the western world. All other manufacturers are within China's sphere of influence: South Korea, Taiwan and Japan.
