I'm watching Arcane. And it ranges between compelling and stupid. I'm in a stupid stretch and I don't know if I can put up with it to get to the end.
GM Nostr! I'm trying to get my son started in Bitcoin. Suggestions for good "bitcoin for beginners" books or resources? Specifically looking for resources that do not include shitcoinery I'm looking more for "how to" resources. Like: - how to pick and use a software wallet - how to pick and use a hardware wallet - what are seed phrases and how to store them - what is multisig and how and when to use it NOTE: I already know all this stuff. I'm looking for reference materials for my adult son that could help him learn in addition to information from me. @BTC Sessions is already on the list of resources I've given him. Are there any "bitcoin for beginners" books that he could read?
GM! It's a sunny day today and I'm going to safety pilot for a friend and then fly my airplane back from maintenance. Excited!
I am past the point of caring about the Bitcoin vs shitcoin debate. And bcash and faketoshicash are shitcoins. Roger Ver and Steve Patterson are welcome to them. We all get Bitcoin at the price we deserve. If stubbornness prevents Roger and Steve from getting it now, that's is a problem for them not me. View quoted note →
Bitcoin as a store of value is solving an immediate need for those who see it. Bitcoin as a medium of exchange isn't. Using it for MoE is fine. But it's not going to reach scale until that function is needed at scale. I don't think we're there yet. View quoted note →
Really liked the turbulence response. It wouldn't have been my instinct but thinking about it, I think it's correct. Pushing the nose down is going to increase speed which is offset by speed lost from the decrease in power. But the main benefit of pushing the nose down is reducing the wing load. Which creates buffer if you have another big bump. View quoted note →
