I need to improve my reading speed
got down to -9F last night, after a high of 50F the day before. Had to bump the Whatsminers up to high power mode to keep up (normally run in low power, and have to keep windows open). One thing about hashing for home heating is the response time is pretty slow -- if you let things get out of a comfortable range, it can take a while to heat back up. The heat is constant, but it's low grade, so it takes a while to warm the house.
nostr is just reaching the threshold of being usable, much improved in the couple of weeks I've been here. Desktop clients > mobile clients (android), at least in my experience. I still find twitter to be better for discovery, being exposed to new topics and ideas. Nostr as a whole is still far too niche, but the trend is positive. And zips >> likes, though likes still have a place.
"This existence of a record that everyone can agree on, and that can’t be altered or cheated is very useful to humans. Humans disagree about many things, and many try to cheat others. But I cannot tell a lie or have a different record for different people. Imagine everyone completely agreeing on something. I am that. And that’s apparently very useful to many people." https://tomerstrolight.medium.com/hello-i-am-bitcoin-a1f804617fab
