The more these uprisings and unrest happen across the globe more I see people trusting Elon and what he says than what the people on the ground are saying. Which is super interesting considering how so many people came to Nostr to get from under Elon’s eye and influence.
I’m thankful that on #Nostr that the team is building and the plebs are focused on the mission while having fun.
As everyone else is foaming at the mouth about politics because it’s political pandering season.
Love this space.
Hopefully the stuff in Dubai calms down and things get back to normal.
But that weather and cloud seeding scenario is wild.
It’s reminiscent of how crypto is (a lot of pumping, manufactured funds, rug pulls and disasters) and #Bitcoin (slow and steady with nature, peaceful while letting things come to it, building community that’s helpful)
There’s always parallels out here.
As much as we say #Bitcoin is freedom money; as much as it is life-changing money and technology. The rabbit holes it unlocks are vast not to mention educational and mind altering.
Getting people to understand self-custody of their #Bitcoin is also gonna be a long fight considering the implications of what’s to come in regards to privacy.
It’s great to see people in the #Bitcoin space, online and offline, are waking up to what Saylor is up to and why he’s in this space. Funding the Bitcoin Devs will happen without his support- as it should.
That’s the other part of freedom that #Bitcoin provides.
