it is hard to take in how monopolistic youtube has become for online videos. what is your favorite person posting videos somewhere else? i don`t mean short form clips, i mean youtube-length videos. it can be on peertube, hyper8, straight html-players on a blog, or any place other than youtube (i wont`t go to those alt-right videosites) but what is your favorite persons place that is not on youtube? or is it all youtube?
Anyone here made bio vinyl records in Europe before? Any tips?
Added a section for recommendations on where to start for new people, experimenting with readability, and of course letting people know that they can join the newsletter for even more of a personal experience. Slowly chippin' away at the blog! That's what summer vacation is for right?
"Expect enclosure; expect a few big winners; expect advertising, with all the attention-hacking that will demand. Expect, also, that writers will continue to mold their work to fit Substack’s particular ecology, rather than β€œmerely” use the tools to pursue their independent visions and ambitions."
look who got some stickers! image
Newsletter shipped! One of the things I talked about there was introducing stream recordings! Whenever I do a live stream, there is almost always someone who asks β€œOh no, I missed it! Can I watch the recording?” Well now you can! Some streams will be super special β€œone night only”, but some will be uploaded so you can have a peek after. Two streams for now, and more will come in the future. Might not stay around forever. Video RSS: https://www.kristofferlislegaard.com/video/subscribe/

New blog: Festival life and the missing suitcase "Let me tell you about last week. I played two festivals, spent time with some great people, and wondered where the hell my suitcase with synthesizers was. This post is part just showing some clips and recommending some artists, part a lesson for traveling musicians, and of course just story time from life on the road."
Hey look! Danish computer musician and artist @npub1s70v...5tlc is sharing his thoughts on camera! Really looking forward to see how this format is going to develop. I think Mads is on such an inspirational wave these days, combining music releases with tea (yes really, a bag of tea), making art installations out of custom programmed vibration motors and now also leaning more into sharing the process and the person behind.
happy release day @npub1nuua...gjr3 !
