"A shipment is on the way!" announces the email that was sent a week ago. Today I'm wondering where the product is since it's been a week since the email. Tracking link takes me to FedEx saying they still don't have the product. The shipment is, in no way, "on the way." https://oyster.us-east.host.bsky.network/xrpc/com.atproto.sync.getBlob?did=did:plc:cak4klqoj3bqgk5rj6b4f5do&cid=bafkreigmsiuwpfisdmzkwk5dfkmzwkp6xwvdxts6y6tvia6wjpslkaipb4

I think people are negatively reacting to the "no ceiling" part as shorthand for "let the rich get richer," though I don't think that's what's meant at all. It's an aspirational claim that *can* resonate with plenty of people. It's about opening up opportunity for everyone, which is good?
... Hell, I'd argue that's kinda what my emphasis on protocols over platforms is in a technical sense. Having a "strong floor" or base as the protocol on which anyone can build anything ("no ceilings") is a good concept for establishing a base line on which anyone can build.
And that concept is quintessentially American. The idea that anyone *should* have an opportunity to succeed. Having "strong floors" as a base to make sure no one is left behind, with the possibility of opportunity to succeed is not a bad message...
