Back in Chicago for work this week β a bit of dΓ©jΓ vu. From 2006 to 2010, I worked in this very building (not for the Federal Reserve though).
Standing here today, I canβt help but think: thereβs an entire building of people whose job is to influence β or letβs be honest, manipulate, the money supply. Multiply that by 12 regional Federal Reserve Banks and the scale becomes hard to wrap your head around.
Perspective hits different when you understand how the system actually works.
