Yeah, I keep hoping servo will be usable before disabling things in firefox no longer works. ;(
Got all my hand crafted, artisinal home iptables setups moved to nftables today. Was remarkably easy with iptables-restore-translate. I even dropped a bunch of really old rules. I had crazy stuff like ftp and things for the slimserver I hadn't been running in many many years. :) Thats one bit of home technical debt taken care of.

Today in #fedora land: DC move meeting - 2025-12-12 8am Worked with DC folks to identify all servers lacking 10G connections Looked at download-iso01 sync. Asked about network acls. Looked at proxy14 setup, we have a lot of hard coded rdu3 datacenter stuff, attempted workaround Fixed up some epel10.2 compose issues ( ) docs: renamed master to main branch on forge infra docs. Got vmhost-x86-iso02/03 up and ansiblized. <1/2>
Today in #fedora infra: * Fixed some issues on retrace03. * Ran Fedora infrastructure meeting - 2025-12-11 9am * Increased max workers on proxies to see if it fixes * Put staging docs behind anubis to test, will roll to prod soon. * Added all the rdu3 acls to internal requests * vmhost-x86-iso02 configure and reinstall, but no 10G link. Waiting on dc folks * vmhost-x86-iso04 configure and reinstall, one 10G link, worked with it to fix.
Yesterday in my #fedora land: * risc-v meeting - 2025-12-03 8:30am * Working with datacenter folks on rdu2-cc machines in rdu3 * Upgraded all the firmware in retrace03 to try and get 10G nics working * docs: Updated a bunch of infra docs tickets, closed a number. * Infra daily meeting - 2025-12-10 noon * Got retrace reconfigured and mostly ansiblized and fully back online
Only about 0.77 in of rain in the last 24hours. They said it would be double that. Ah, life in the winter in the pacific northwest.
Today in my little region of #fedora * Fedora releng engineering meeting - 2025-12-08 8am * docs: datanommer sop: * Looked at pagure.io to try and fix sporadic 503s. Blocked /blame/ and archives in forks * 1x1 with Tomas - 2025-12-08 10:30am * Looking at nagios breakage I caused with pagure.io move. Fixed it. * Look at forge/pagure pr's from t0xicc0der, merged and deployed * Merged fedora-packager pr and built in rawhide. * Looked again at ipv6 power9 copr issues.
