If you have finished investigating something, can you say that you troubleshot it?

Yesterday, I was off (ferrying around various family members to dr appointments/etc). Today in my #fedora land: * closed the tcp timeout issue. There's a related koji 502 issue now, but it's much less of a problem.

* switched kojipkgs back to using varnish now that the timeout is fixed. * Upgraded communishift * Figured out what was removing some folks groups (it's our packager group sync). * Tagged f42/43 shim builds into updates-testing. Please report any issues. <1/N>

I've been too swamped to post my daily activities here. Dunno if anyone missed them, but I hope to resume now. Recently: various outages and problems and doom. Finally got the power10 setup all working, all ppc64le builders are back (with more mem/cpus even). FINALLY I think the timeout issue that has been plaguing us is solved. Our firewall cluster was upgraded and seems to have fixed whatever bug we were hitting. Will still leave things open for a few days. PTO tomorrow.

Finally able to upgrade my main server to #fedora 43. Many thanks for the fedora matrix-synapse maintainer for working with upstream to get synapse working with pydantic v2 and python 3.14. Had a time adjusting dovecot to the new config, but I think I have it all working now. Upgraded postgresql from 16 to 17 before the upgrade and then just did 17 to 18 after.
