Is Bukele Truly a Democratic Leader? @Marius Off๐Ÿ”—Chain Explains
We had a social media teacher during my MA who was one of the best teachers Iโ€™ve ever had. He recommended a book in his course: Essentialism: The Disciplined Pursuit of Less by Greg McKeown. I finally got around to reading it the following summer. Itโ€™s a simple, accessible read, yet itโ€™s one of those books that profoundly changes the way you see and live your life. Iโ€™m still a finger-in every-pie kind of person as you can probably tell from my posts ๐Ÿ˜„, but trust me, this version of me is still a big improvement. Essentialism taught me to focus, cut the fluff, and improve life by subtraction rather than addition. After my first read, I wrote to my teacher, Mr. Morin, to thank him for recommending the book and to express my regret for not having picked it up the day he mentioned it in the class. Iโ€™ve read it several times since. I own both the e-book and the audiobook and Iโ€™ve consumed it in every form possible. Every once in a while, I find that a little โ€œbooster doseโ€ of Essentialism is exactly what I need. #bookstr #bookreview image
I read Show Your Work by Austin Kleon once, years ago. but itโ€™s had a lasting impact on me as a content creator. Easy-to-read, simple, yet game-changing. I would read it again soon. #bookreview #bookstr image
