"I'm not a feminist," says the girl who benefits from the rights that feminism has given; At 20, she is still single and not being forced into marriage with a man the age of her grandfather. She has her own bank account, the right to vote, the freedom to wear pants, the ability to speak in public, and access to education. Burst my brain πŸ˜’
Be consumed by your ambition. There is no deeper betrayal than abandoning your own becoming. Be haunted by your potential until you have no choice but to see it through.
I just saw a TikTok where a woman said β€œdo you actually want it or do you want other people to see that you have it?” and WHEW! I feel like more people need to ask themselves this, because what they THINK they want, isnΚΌt what they actually want. What they really desire is acceptance.
Nothing will make you more anxious than avoiding the work you know you need to do. Ironically, doing the work is almost always less stressful than avoiding it. But we convince ourselves it’s the opposite. And that lie costs us progress.
My unpopular opinions: πŸ“šSociety doesn't want women to be happy. It wants them to be useful. πŸ“šThink about it: motherhood isn't treated like something sacred; it's more like a strategy. It keeps women exhausted, tied down, emotionally drained, financially dependent... and way too busy to burn the system down. πŸ“šSo when a woman says: "Yeah, I'm not going to play that role," people don't get angry because she's selfish. They get angry because she's free. πŸ“šSome of us weren't born to play along. πŸ“šSome of us were made to question the whole damn system. πŸ“šWhat's something you were taught to believe about being a "good woman" that you've had to unlearn? I want to hear your story πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡
Dear woman πŸ‘§πŸ½ πŸ’šBe more than just your husband's wife. πŸ’šBe more than just your children's mother. πŸ’šBe more than just an Inlaw. πŸ’šBe, you......an adult beautiful on the inside and out, complete with positive dreams and aspirations that you chase on your journey to self growth and global impact. πŸ’šBe financially liberated enough to do that which you positively desire without having to wait. πŸ’šBe enough to support your spouse, be enough to walk away from toxicity. πŸ’šBe intellectual enough to birth ideas that cannot be pushed aside. Be strong enough to take charge and be relied upon without being taken for granted. Most importantly, be valuable enough that anyone leaving you will be the one losing. πŸ’šBe, first, you, for you.
Once you decide you want a good life, the universe will start moving things for you to have it. the people you need will appear, the doors you need will open. but not until you decide. once you truly, sincerely decide
As someone in the technical community, one of the best decisions I made this year was to commit to showing up and speaking up more, actively working on my public speaking skills. Investing in yourself is paramount. It's how you signal to the universe that you're ready for bigger opportunities and that you're actively preparing for the future. For me, that means consistently honing my ability to articulate complex technical concepts, even when it feels uncomfortable. Personal branding isn't just for marketers or entrepreneurs; it's an everyday essential, especially for those of us in technical fields. It's about clearly communicating your expertise, passion, and value. What steps are you taking this year to invest in your personal and professional growth? Cc:Gemstones Toastmasters Club, Kaduna

I recently attended Evento Pizza Day hosted by @Hey_0x @Brianna HD in Kaduna, where discussions centered on democratizing access to Bitcoin @Evento Evento is designed to be more than an event platform; it's a global connector, utilizing technologies like Bitcoin to empower and unite communities worldwide. #evento #bitcoin #techkeenah #PizzaDay image image
