Timothy Mellon, a doofus of long standing, is the quintessential argument for sensible estate taxes. He's never worked an honest day in his life and shouldn't have this kind of money to throw around. Now he’s made a belated contribution of $130 million to the Treasury (not, as he seems to think, to our troops, who are getting paid regardless).
