@Bitkey it seems harder than it should be to connect my own electrum server. I run electrs as part of a parmanode @Parman - Activate OP_GFY now!!. I can connect other wallets through SSL connection on the local network and over Tailscale network. I cannot connect Bitkey. I have spent some time trying different things with Grok (I am very much only an amateur tinkerer). I have come to the conclusion Bitkey is very fussy about the connection?
@jack mallers hope you are doing great. Podcast is excellent. Couple of requests for @strike in the UK if possible. Can we get UK financial year records? Would be great to download in one hit rather than the calendar year summary. Also, pdfs as well as the current format, with all the official details of the account might be useful for official records. Also, it might be useful to get the pdf of the cash bank account statement (cash in and out) with the banking details etc which can be requested for verification by some services such as some UK ISA account platforms, but also may be useful anyway for records generally. Thanks and keep up the great work 👍
Please spare me from the Pyramid bullshit. I read all the David Ike and Graeme Hancock stuff like 25 years ago or more. Entertaining yes. Thought provoking. Of course. A bit fucking dodgy and mental (Ike), for sure. I read books from the library about ‘pyramid power’ when I was about 12. I have seen someone wearing a wire pyramid on their head. Not satirically. In public. In the center of town. GM

To Make and Run A Node Get a 2012 Mac mini for cheap Get a 2tb Ssd Maybe get max ram Get Linux mint or similar on a flash drive using balena etcher. Go to ifixit or YouTube for guidance on all this. Install ssd and ram - not hard Install Linux - easy Install Parmanode - too easy @Parman - Activate OP_GFY now!! Obviously you can use other base hardware for this but Mac mini is small, looks great and is quiet. Mac mini 2012 is particularly good as very upgradable. You can in fact get a kit to allow 2 internal drives but a bit more fiddly (or fun, depending how much you like that stuff)
