The largest city in the United States elected a democratic socialist last night I know a lot of people think he will be a disaster, a kind of one-off. I disagree, I think this is the start of a wave of victories for democratic socialist politicians/ policies. Which, in turn, will create a counter wave of pseudo fascist 'mano duro' type politicians/ policies. (Alternatively you can argue that last night was the counter-wave. Either way, these two trends actually support each other and give the other its reason for existing.) The nation, conscious that the status quo is NOT working for them will seek solutions at the margins and each of us in our own echo chambers will be convinced whatever side we are on is just. This is takes us down a dangerous road Or... There's a third choice for those who want to reject the status quo #Bitcoin image
"Each stablecoin transaction that settles in USDT extends the dollar systemโ€™s reach and perpetuates the weaponization of money... And every Bitcoiner who accepts that trade off helps build a network where decentralization endures mostly as branding."
Another Sunday hike up San Salvador volcano with my son I mostly carry him in a backpack but each week he walks more on the trails What a joy to watch his love of nature grow โค๏ธ
Bitcoin is money. I strongly believe that's it's most valuable use case In order to make sure that is the future of Bitcoin there is something extremely important you must do today.... Use Bitcoin as money. Earn it for your work & spend it for your wants and needs. And if you want to do even more, make it easier for others to do the same via education or technology
