However, the ruling was reissued on Thursday afternoon after it emerged that a quote he attributed to a tribunal involving Maya Forstater did not appear in that case’s judgment. This prompted Ms Forstater, the chief executive of the sex rights charity Sex Matters, to tweet: “This ‘quote’ from my judgment doesn’t come from my judgment. It is completely made up.” The tribunal issued a “certificate of correction” stating there had been “clerical mistake(s), error(s) or omissions(s)”.
