To delete a line you've written at the Linux, macOS, or Unix command prompt, use "Ctrl-U". Works with password prompts too. No need hit backspace multiple times and most modern shells.

Here is a small tip: to easily configure your installed FreeBSD, use the `bsdconfig` command as the root user.
