What are the arguments for "Public Domain" being more suitable for projects such as BitChat, than more permissive licenses such as GPL.?
There could be made an argument against Public Domain, in favor of GPL - on the example of Linux Kernel - that may have protected its code against takeover by companies such as Microsoft or Apple.
I had a discussion with a friend and would be curious what were the incentives to go with "Public Domain"
