Bitcoin's limited transaction sizes, data, are like the early computers from the 70s & 80s. Only so much data can pass through, every byte counts. Today, that's not the case and it incentivizes slop-riddled code.
Imagine if the early internet protocols were built with orders of magnitude more code, much of it junk. How much more powerful would your rig need to be today to run the unnecessary stuff?
Bitcoin is in its infancy and we don't need to fill it's head with all of mommy and daddy's insecurities.
Junk code is a silent theft from all who use it. Seems a lot like inflation and the $USD. Data limits are a feature not a bug. Also, I believe the limits will expand over time akin to Moore's Law, amount of transistors leading to computational power.
Congratulations fellow humans, we have leveled up as a species and we are very early. 🤙
