If you’re an American woman, there’s a high likelihood you grew up playing with the classic American Girl dolls — where each doll came with a story depicting a historical, pure Americana tale. But if you’re a young girl in today’s America, that’s all changing. The classic American Girl doll has taken a turn for the politically correct, with its latest Instagram post featuring an American Girl doll celebrating the Islamic holiday of Eid al-Fitr as a part of its “Cultural Celebrations” outfit line. Allie Beth Stuckey of “Relatable” grew up playing with the dolls and devouring their stories, so she's more than a little disappointed that her daughters won’t experience the same magic that once was. “I’m a girl mom who has three little girls who love dolls and would love American Girl. I would love to take them to the American Girl store. I grew up reading the American Girl books. They were some of my favorite books. I remember their lives; I remember their stories and all of their different personality traits,” Stuckey recalls. “They always championed basic virtues and also just showing appropriate confidence as a girl and the value and the uniqueness of being a girl,” she continues. “But we’ve started seeing some sketchy things over the years, because as we know, as a principle, if an institution is not explicitly biblical, not just explicitly conservative, but explicitly biblical, it will end up veering into degeneracy.” “It will end up veering to the left, questioning basic realities like gender, breaking down the moral values that we have agreed upon at least as culturally Christian Americans for a very long time,” she adds. Stuckey’s concern is that Islam is now being seen as a formidable part of American society. “When I look at Muslim-majority countries everywhere, most of them are completely rot with archaic violence and chaos and oppression of the most vulnerable. When we look at all of the major terrorist groups around the world,” she says, “all of these terrorist groups, save a couple, are Islamic in nature.” “When we look at the religious affiliations of the groups most violently persecuting both Jews and Christians around the world, it’s all Islam,” she continues. “That is not to say that every person who is Muslim is violent; that is not to say every person who is Muslim is going to be a terrorist or is going to be a radical extremist, but obviously we see the common denominator there.” Want more from Allie Beth Stuckey? To enjoy more of Allie’s upbeat and in-depth coverage of culture, news, and theology from a Christian, conservative perspective, subscribe to BlazeTV — the largest multi-platform network of voices who love America, defend the Constitution, and live the American dream.

The U.S. Supreme Court unanimously ruled that the Trump administration must "facilitate" the return of the Salvadorian man who was wrongly sent to a notorious prison for terrorists. Kilmar Abrego Garcia was deported to the terrorist prison in El Salvador based on claims that he was a member of the MS-13 gang, and the administration has argued that it is unable to bring him back to the U.S. Garcia originally entered the U.S. in about 2011 and is from El Salvador. 'He’s a husband, father and working man. Not a criminal.' The administration has admitted that a "clerical error" led to Garcia being deported from Maryland, where he lived with his wife and children, who are all U.S. citizens. On Thursday the court ruled 9-0 that a lower court order telling the administration to bring Garcia back to the U.S. must stand. "The order properly requires the Government to 'facilitate' Abrego Garcia's release from custody in El Salvador and to ensure that his case is handled as it would have been had he not been improperly sent to El Salvador," read the Supreme Court ruling. U.S. District Judge Paula Xinis had previously rejected the evidence the administration had presented that Garcia was a member of the criminal gang and ordered him returned. "I haven’t been given any evidence,” Xinis said. “In a court of law, when someone is accused of membership in such a violent and predatory organization, it comes in the form of an indictment, a complaint, a criminal proceeding that has [a] robust process so we can assess the facts.”Many on the right criticized Xinis as being biased because she had been nominated by former President Barack Obama. Critics of the deportation said that the administration had violated Garcia's due process rights. "Kilmar Abrego Garcia had a legal right to be in America. He’s a husband, father and working man. Not a criminal," said Rep. Joaquin Castro (D-Texas). "Yet he was deported to a gulag in El Salvador with no due process and Presidents Trump and Bukele refuse to return him to his family in the U.S. We stood with his family today to demand Kilmar’s return."But Solicitor General John Sauer argued that the judicial branch was improperly usurping the power of the executive in its rulings. “While the United States concedes that removal to El Salvador was an administrative error,” Sauer wrote, “that does not license district courts to seize control over foreign relations, treat the executive branch as a subordinate diplomat, and demand that the United States let a member of a foreign terrorist organization into America tonight.”An attorney for Garcia had previously said he was confident he could have him returned and added that the administration undermined its argument that it had no recourse to get him out of the prison. "They got Kristi Noem out of that prison," said Simon Sandoval-Moshenberg about the Homeland Security secretary. Like Blaze News? The Department of Government Efficiency has just uncovered what may go down as one of the largest scandals in American history — that not only did millions of illegal aliens get Social Security numbers under Biden, but they obtained voter IDs and voted in the 2024 election. “Of course, we had Antonio Gracias — who is, of course, a volunteer with DOGE — Elon Musk, and all of them, saying this is not just a loophole. It’s a deliberate system, actually. Noncitizens are filing for asylum, they’re getting work authorization, and then that’s automatically triggering a Social Security number,” Sara Gonzales of “Sara Gonzales Unfiltered” explains. “So from there, driver’s licenses, voter rolls, benefits, and, of course, in some cases, voting,” she adds. “One-point-three million of them are on Medicaid right now, and we looked at the voter rolls, and we found that thousands of them were registered to vote in a handful of states. I mean, it is shockingly bad, and this is the tip of the iceberg guys. We mapped the system from enumeration, that’s how you get your number, all the way to the end. Went to the offices and saw how the offices operate,” Gracias explained in a clip from the “All-In" podcast. “And in that process, one of our engineers found this data called Enumeration Beyond Entry (EBE). It had this giant ram to it, and that just jumped out at us,” he continued. “This program was designed for people that we want to let in.” “A legitimate program was abused. So they allowed people that were illegal at the border to come in legally,” he said, adding, “If I hadn’t seen it with my own eyes, I wouldn’t have believed it. And this is the tip of the iceberg.” Gonzales notes that Gracias isn’t even a Trump loyalist intent on backing the president but a “major” Democrat donor. “This is a man who said, ‘You know what, I’m going to help you guys root out all of this fraud and corruption.’ And the more he uncovers, the more he’s like, ‘Holy crap, I had no idea that my money was funding this,’” Gonzales says. A prolific foster mother in Missouri is being investigated for allegedly trading a foster child in exchange for a monkey, according to police who are looking into claims of abuse against numerous children. Seventy-year-old Brenda Deutsch reportedly worked as a foster mother for decades and took care of over 200 children according to sources that spoke to KMOV-TV. Deutsch is accused of abusing a child for years, said Lincoln County prosecutors. 'We didn’t have any police reports. We didn’t have any requests for prosecution. We didn’t have anything.' The alleged abuse occurred between Sept. 2022 and Jan. 2025, according to court documents. Prosecutors said Deutsch hit the child in the face, causing injury and bleeding, as well as other acts of physical, mental, and emotional abuse. Investigators said they were anonymously tipped off about the alleged abuse. The victim was reported to be missing from school in Missouri and had been taken to Texas. Investigators said that one witness told them Deutsch left the child in Texas because they didn't get along, while another witness said she traded the child for a monkey.Lincoln County Prosecutor Mike Wood said that the adults in the Texas home were disabled, and it appeared that the child was taking care of them. He described the home as being in "deplorable" condition because of burst pipes. Deutsch is accused of having her children evaluated for psychological issues and sending them to residential treatment facilities as a form of punishment, according to Wood. Wood said that the home had been reported to a state child abuse tip line more than 200 times, but no police report had ever been made. “Disappointed to learn that this particular home, despite the notoriety that it had gained, was not in our system. We didn’t have any police reports. We didn’t have any requests for prosecution. We didn’t have anything." The Lincoln County Sheriff said that the woman had called police several times and that they were reviewing their old files. Wood said that the investigation was expected to take a long time as the abuse is reported to have been committed over a decade. Other alleged victims and witnesses have contacted police.Deutsch was arrested and charged with felony counts of neglect, child abuse, and child endangerment. She is being held on a cash-only bond of $250,000. The woman's booking photo and images from the investigation can be viewed in the news video report from KMOV-TV on YouTube. Like Blaze News? A Silicon Valley billionaire admitted that the Trump administration is far more responsive to big money donors than the former Obama team and many on the left reacted with outrage and anger. Chamath Palihapitiya said in an interview that no one at the White House would take his calls despite the fact that he is a "mega-donor," but he admitted that the Trump administration would take calls and even debate issues with large money donors. 'You can pick up the phone and talk to these people. I've never had that experience, guys.' The former Facebook executive and entrepreneur made the comments on Andrew Schulz's podcast. “I was a lifelong Democrat, OK? I was a mega-donor to the Democrats, like dinner with Obama level donor, OK? I couldn't get a f***in' phone call returned from the White House to save my life," he said. "The Trump administration is totally different. There's not a single person there you can't get on the phone and talk to.”He gave an example of a friend whose business was deeply and badly affected by the tariffs, and Trump officials were very responsive to him and heard his concerns about the controversial policy. "This is what's also totally different, which I also give them a lot of respect, they are willing to debate it with you," he continued. "You can pick up the phone and talk to these people. I've never had that experience, guys." The podcast hosts called him out for appearing to demand favors from the White House because of his campaign donations, but he argued that he was acting out of selfless motivation. Many on the left responded with outrage and accused Palihapitiya of complaining about the lack of access to political leaders by the wealthy. "Someone should remind Chamath Palihapitiya that his cash is not supposed to be an all-access pass—and if it is, he's giving it to a government/politician that is not working for the country, but for him. He may think that's fine, I do not," replied David Badash, a progressive publisher. "Love when wealthy elites straight up admit that money corruptly buys political access with Republicans but not with Democrats. So much for draining the swamp," said Matt McDermott, a progressive activist. "Chamath is saying that you can't buy influence in a Democratic Administration but billionaires can buy a lot of influence in the Trump Administration," responded Justin Higgins, a former political appointee. "And he thinks this is a good reason why normal, working class people should support Trump?""So, you were pissed that Biden didn’t put you, a billionaire, on a pedestal? You’re pissed because Biden was focused on the working and middle class and not the top 1%? Get f***ed," read another response. Even some reporters criticized him. "This speaks so well of Democrats and so poorly to the mindset of some of these donors," said CNN's Andrew Kaczynski. Video of his confession were widely circulated on social media with three million views. Like Blaze News? While millions of young girls in the not-so-distant past dreamt endlessly of their wedding days, American women are apparently now flat out rejecting the institution of marriage — believing it won’t bring them happiness. According to a recent article in the Wall Street Journal, “Over half of single women said they believe they were happier than their married counterparts.” The article looks at a 2024 AEI survey of 5,386 adults, where just over a third of surveyed single men said the same. And in a 2022 Pew survey of single adults, only 34% of single women and 54% of single men were “looking for romance.” This is down from 38% and 61% in 2019. “What’s not understandable to me is this perception that married people are not happy,” Stu Burguiere of “Stu Does America” comments. “Women really hold that strongly, men to a lesser degree, but still have that in their opinion.” While the stats reflect single women believing marriage leads to unhappiness, the stats also prove them wrong. Per the latest General Social Survey, the Institute for Family Studies found that the answer to “Who is happier?” is very clear. Married women with children were by far the happiest with 39.5% reporting as “very happy” and 47.6% reporting as “pretty happy.” Another 12.9% reported being “not too happy.” Only 21.5% of unmarried women with no children reported being “very happy,” while 53.8% reported being “pretty happy,” and 24.6% reported being “not too happy.” “I think a lot of people convince others that, actually, married life sucks, and it doesn’t. It’s actually great,” Stu says. “When you’re in conversations with your friends, if you’re a married person, don’t try to scare them away.” “You’re scaring them away from something that will probably benefit them,” he adds. Police shot the wife of Weezer bassist Scott Shriner in Southern California on Tuesday and charged her with attempted murder amid a bizarre series of events in Los Angeles. The perilous showdown erupted from a completely unrelated police chase, according to law enforcement. Around 3:25 p.m., officers with the California Highway Patrol allegedly were pursuing three hit-and-run suspects. During the police pursuit, the alleged suspects were involved in a car crash and headed into a residential neighborhood. 'The officers ordered Shriner to drop the handgun numerous times; however, she refused.'CHP requested police backup to apprehend the suspects in the northeast Los Angeles neighborhood of Eagle Rock. One of the hit-and-run suspects reportedly ran into a home's backyard.Jillian Lauren Shriner — a 51-year-old author and wife of the Weezer bassist — allegedly exited her home near the police search, and she reportedly was armed with a handgun. The Los Angeles Police Department said in a statement that Shriner was "uninvolved in the hit-and-run," but still "officers ordered Shriner to drop the handgun numerous times; however, she refused. Shriner then pointed the handgun at the officers, and an officer-involved shooting occurred."LAPD detective Meghan Aguilar said during a Wednesday night news conference that police bodycam video had not provided "a clear view of what she did with that firearm" and noted that it was "not clear if she fired at officers or not."KTLA-TV shared cellphone video of Shriner lying on a road with a gunshot wound as police took her into custody. Investigators reportedly will rely on a review of multiple videos from neighborhood cameras. TMZ reported that Shriner was shot in the shoulder.Shriner was transported to a local hospital for treatment, and her condition was said to be not life-threatening.No officers or other community members were hurt during the incident. Shriner was arrested and hit with attempted murder charges. A 9-millimeter handgun was recovered from the scene, police said.Shriner was booked and released from jail after posting a $1 million bond, according to jail records. Investigators with the LAPD's Force Investigation Division — which is responsible for probing incidents involving police use of force — are looking into the shooting. One of the hit-and-run suspects involved in the initial car chase was arrested in a nearby backyard, while two others fled the crime scene. Shriner is the author of two best-selling memoirs, 2010’s "Some Girls: My Life in a Harem" and 2015’s "Everything You Ever Wanted." Shriner also penned "Behold the Monster: Confronting America’s Most Prolific Serial Killer," a book based on her interviews with serial killer Samuel Little. She and the Weezer bassist were married in 2005, and they have two adopted children. Scott Shriner declined to offer any remarks in regard to his wife when KTLA asked him for a comment. However, the New York Post said Shriner was seen walking four dogs outside the couple's home Thursday and said in reference to his wife that "she’s all right, thank you for asking." Shriner added, “See you at Coachella!” as he returned to the home, the Post said.Like Blaze News? Bypass the censors, sign up for our newsletters, and get stories like this direct to your inbox. The Department of Government Efficiency appears to have discovered more potential fraud within the federal government. On Wednesday, the DOGE shared a post on social media highlighting troubling findings from an unemployment insurance survey.'We will catch these thieves and keep working to root out egregious fraud – accountability is here.'Since 2020, tens of thousands of individuals who were either over 115 years old, children, or not yet born have cashed in on millions of taxpayer-funded benefits. The DOGE reported that 24,500 people over 115 years old collected $59 million in benefits, 28,000 between 1 and 5 years old received $254 million, and 9,700 "with birth dates over 15 years in the future claimed $69M in benefits."One individual claiming the birth year 2154 collected $41,000, the DOGE stated.Elon Musk responded to the post, writing, "Your tax dollars were going to pay fraudulent unemployment claims for fake people born in the future! This is so crazy that I had to read it several times before it sank in."He added in a separate post, "The oldest living American is 114 years old, so it is safe to say that anyone 115 or older is collecting 'unemployment' due to being dead. There was no sanity check for impossibly young or impossibly old people for unemployment insurance."The Labor Department confirmed that unemployment insurance was distributed to fraudulent recipients, Fox Business reported.DOL Secretary Lori Chavez-DeRemer told the news outlet, "This is another incredible discovery by the DOGE team, finding nearly $400 million in fraudulent unemployment payments.""The Labor Department is committed to recovering Americans' stolen tax dollars. We will catch these thieves and keep working to root out egregious fraud – accountability is here," she added.During Thursday's Cabinet meeting at the White House, Musk told Trump about the newly discovered fraud and anticipated savings due to the DOGE's work."Thanks to your fantastic leadership, this amazing Cabinet, and the very talented DOGE team, I'm excited to announce that we anticipate savings in FY2026 from reduction of waste and fraud by $150 billion," Musk stated."And some of it is just absurd, like people getting unemployment insurance who haven't been born yet," he continued. "That's just crazy."Musk stated that the federal government is a "target-rich environment" for uncovering waste and fraud. According to the DOGE's website, the most significant chunk of the federal government's overall savings has come from the Department of Health and Human Services, the Department of Education, the General Services Administration, the Small Business Administration, and the Department of Labor. Senator Ted Cruz (R-Texas) asked the national fencing body why it is not complying with federal mandates and gave a clear deadline for answers.A male competed in a women's fencing tournament in Maryland at the end of March, which sparked a protest from one of the female athletes, who refused to compete against the man.Female fencer Stephanie Turner forfeited her match against male Redmond Sullivan and was disqualified from the tournament, with officials stating that her DQ was due to her refusal "to fence an eligible opponent."To make matters worse, as Blaze News previously reported, the male fencer had already seen great success in the women's division, accumulating two gold medals in just six events. This, despite the male athlete's highest achievement in the men's category being third place over the span of several years.Senator Cruz decided to pen a letter to USA Fencing after the ordeal, dated April 7, and asked why the sport's national governing body was defying President Trump's executive order that requires women's competitions to remain solely for women."It has come to my attention that USA Fencing is still permitting men to compete in women's fencing in violation of federal law. I'm writing to ask why," the Texas Republican wrote. Cruz added that in order to retain its recognition as a national governing body in the United States, USA Fencing must comply with Olympic and federal standards."If it does not, and instead continues to put women at risk, Congress may be forced to terminate USA Fencing's NGB's certification," Cruz warned. After going into great detail about violations and different instances of unfairness to women, the senator noted that male fencers have natural advantages over female competitors."Men tend to be taller, have greater muscle mass, and more testosterone — all advantages for fencing movements like lunges, jumping, or leg power measures," Cruz explained. Then, the senator gave USA Fencing a deadline of April 21 (two weeks) to respond to his inquiries about the sporting conditions for women in fencing. His inquiries included questions like, "How many men (or transgender women) currently compete in the women's division of USA Fencing?" and, "Does the USA Fencing Transgender and Nonbinary Policy comply with President Trump's EO on Keeping Men Out of Women's Sports? Why or why not?"Cruz also wanted to know how many sanctioned bouts had occurred in fencing between men "or transgender women" and women and how many times the male won. He also asked about how many times a female suffered in an injury in one of those bouts.Blaze News has reached out to USA Fencing to see if the organization has provided the senator with a response or if it has a general response about allowing men to compete in women's sports. This article will be updated with applicable responses.Like Blaze News? U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement in Florida is about to get over 1,000 extra officers to help the federal government carry out mass deportations now that the southern border crisis is over. The Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles announced on Wednesday that Executive Director Dave Kerner was the first in the department to be sworn as an ICE Task Force Officer under the 287(g) program. The program allows state and local law enforcement to be certified and empowered to enforce federal immigration law during the course of their normal duties. Florida is the first in the nation to require law enforcement agencies to be part of the program. FLHSMV further revealed that almost 1,500 Florida Highway Patrol troopers will soon complete their 287(g) certification and will be carrying out those new authorities throughout the state.'I will ensure that our city lights the path towards citizenship today, that we celebrate the new citizen tomorrow.'"Under Governor [Ron] DeSantis' leadership, Florida is leading the way nationally in both state and local enforcement of Federal immigration laws," FLHSMV said. — (@) The 287(g) program is different from Operation Stonegarden, which combines federal agencies like U.S. Border Patrol and local law enforcement to conduct missions at the same time, since 287(g) allows certified departments to act independently. While it takes time to be certified, sheriff's offices in the state are expected to complete their training soon, adding even more authorized personnel to crack down on illegal immigrants. In Jacksonville, the city council took it a step farther. While is now a state crime for an illegal alien to be in Florida, the Jacksonville City Council passed a measure to make it a local crime to be in the city if someone is in the country illegally.Jacksonville Mayor Donna Deegan (D) did not sign the anti-illegal immigration bill into law, but she did not veto it either. This means the bill will become city law."Why not veto it? Because it's a distraction that would delight those who want to fight our city's forward progress to further their own ambitions," Deegan explained. "I will ensure that our city lights the path towards citizenship today, that we celebrate the new citizen tomorrow, and that we always lead with love."Like Blaze News?
