The key to understanding Ruby is understanding the Enumerable module and how to make (for instance a custom data structure you implement) something Enumerable. Same goes for Comparable Hard to walk away from that experience without an appreciation for just how beautiful Ruby is!

This Indian Independence Day I can’t help but think the pivotal role Tech played. Highly doubt if any of the major events of the last 300 years (French, Russian & American revolutions for ex) would have been possible w/o the printing press. Now we live in an age where ppl are walking around with supercomputers in their pockets. An age where cryptography gives enormous power at the individual level. What this does wrt Individual Freedoms should be interesting.

As I grow older (and maybe this is a symptom of being in tech) I value *physical* objects more - Automatic watches over Quartz - Well made furniture over regular store stuff - Better made pens (Lamy etc.) over the reg stuff The *craftsmanship* & obsession isn’t lost on me
