For me, Covid was the breaking point. The government wasn’t just restricting our freedom of movement, they were actively punishing anyone who didn’t take that rushed vaccine. Cashu is seriously impressive. If you’re building anything Lightning-related, definitely consider using Cashu. It’s super versatile & really easy to work with. Minting and melting are literally just two simple API calls each, that’s it. You can even send payments directly to Nostr public keys, nutstash.app already supports that & NWC with budget limits. It’s genuinely solid work. There’s so much potential here, and I think we’re just scratching the surface.
