This was incredibly annoying to listen to. Sometimes one has to build a case and Alex kept objecting before he even heard the case!
Iβm not going to opine on who was right or who won because the debate never happened, and itβs not occurring was entirely on Alex.
Alex cannot (or will not) see anything other than the immediate benefit of Lighting to those he is passionate about helping. Paul was attempting to say, βI grant you that, but donβt you want to help everyone, and help them for the long haul?β
One cannot adequately nor fairly refute a dialogue partner till one actually understands their view in a sympathetic manner. The one thing clear from this is that Paul understood what Alex was saying but Alex never took the time to understand Paul. π’ frustrating and almost impossible to listen to because Alex wouldnβt let Paul speak.
A major shift in power dynamics is under way. The age of nation states is giving way to a technoractic, neo-feudal future.
"Tether...was the worldβs seventh-largest buyer of US Treasurys, surpassing some of the worldβs largest countries."
What we have been watching in our nation is the difference between two religions, expressed in their civil application. This is misunderstood or not perceived by many from all sides.
it's intriguing to me that we can see that initial comprehension is metaphorical at best, but not see that Divine comprehension generates taboos that transcend our journey toward intricate comprehension. For example, we recognize perhaps the simplest aspect of the negative possibilities of eating pork (trichinosis) but what other impacts do we not yet perceive? The rabbis theorized after millennia of observation, for example, that the consumption of pork induced spiritual blindness. How will we measure that?
