He writes for Religion News Service about why he continues to show up at Broadview, the atmosphere at protests there, and religious leaders' obligation to resist tyranny. "It is important for my neighbors who were abducted to know that we will not stop fighting for their release," he writes. "By my estimation, our country is somewhere in 1930s Germany. Fascism is growing in power, but we still have opportunities to resist."
