Bad news: Sweden will scrap its Stockholm-Berlin night train from next year:
From then on, getting from Stockholm to Berlin will involve a night train to Malmö (7 hours, two of which are spent parked in the middle of Sweden), followed by Øresundståg to Copenhagen, train to Hamburg (if you can get a seat; they book out due to capacity constraints) and finally DB to Berlin. Or, you know, Ryanair like a normal tourist
