American Express called me today because they were concerned about a 5 figure payment I made to a law firm. They asked me if everything went well with the services provided by the merchant and I was like "no, these fuckers are robbing me legally!"

This is why I'm skeptical of hardware signing devices with permanently installed batteries. Just pulled a Ledger Flex out of storage (in optimal cool & dry conditions) and the battery has swollen and burst out of the back panel. Device still works but only when plugged in.
