The revolution will be social
Posters at protests are now created to go viral as a meme & amplify the movement. Take the recent Hīkoi defending Aotearoa New Zealand’s founding treaty. Posters weren’t mass produced, instead there were tons of different ones each with their own message. https://www.rnz.co.nz/news/te-manu-korihi/537394/signs-of-the-hikoi-more-than-just-words-on-cardboard
@Mike McCue nice interview with @npub1sacl...kcpe and @npub1fd2l...f2f9 I'm super curious about your research in to / hearing from folks who want groups / privacy and are frustrated. Is this antidotal or are you seeing more trends / research on this? I think privacy and groups is not what bluesky has focused on. I kind of think the relay/appview model will make those things hard to build, you might need to make an alt network stack bridging PDS's to make it work. But then it'll be ATprotocol but not bluesky at all.
Listening to Harris campaign leadership reflect on the campaign. They knew Harris needed a strong break from the Biden administration to define how she disagreed and would do things differently. Harris refused and fundamentally believed loyalty was more important than winning. The blame for this loss is on Biden, Harris, and Democratic Party senior leadership.

Finally some good news out of Aotearoa New Zealand.
I went to the Hīkoi mō Te Tiriti today in Pōneke. It was a nation wide march from both ends of the country to the capital demanding that the government uphold the Te Tiriti Waitangi treaty upon which New Zealand’s government was founded. The march was huge and inspiring. This is how we win. image
