For the life of me I still cannot understand why anybody thinks these Republicans would have not watched the entire country burn before they’d concede. They keep telling everyone they don’t care who hurts, and they don’t think it will hurt them to keep hurting. So what possible leverage comes from hurting millions THAT THEY WANTED TO HURT? As I said, I’m all for referendums. I wish we had more of them. National referendums would be the a Holy Grail of American political reform. And almost certainly why we will never see them until we find our collective spine, shut everything down and just start demanding them.

Nothing annoys me more than having Tim Kaine get his way on anything. But I won’t let that take precedence over those I’ve spoken to for weeks who have not moved their bowels due to the political terrorism threatening them. MAGA will never be defeated by just pounding the table.

I’m old enough to remember when social media seemed like a good thing for the world. That notion didn’t age well.
