the luddites convened and ruled in favor of notebook image
I’ve carried a notebook on me at all times for 10 years. Knowing this- a close friend got me one of those ai pendents that life logs everything. Been using it for a few days now and despite initial skepticism- actually really like it. I get a daily transcript of everything with an option to keep audio. All the major LLMs are integrated so am then able to ask questions using this data as context, eg: What book did Stephen recommend over lunch? What was the name of the software David mentioned? It also automatically generates a list of To Dos from the day’s log which has been surprisingly helpful. This specific one(Limitless) also has an open api with model context protocols so you can build custom workflows off of transcripts. Going to spend some time trying things with this. Data security is a huge question. I have been cognizant to let people know I am wearing it during some meetings and this doesn’t seem to affect transparency of conversations however I notice I am self reflecting more which is a down side. All in all not sure if this pattern will stick but going to keep playing with it. image

Fitness hack: Riding a jet ski is a great workout. If gnar’ing hard enough- you will exercise legs, arms and back and can supplement chest with pushups. Instead of a gym membership, buy a used jet ski for $5000. It will pay itself back in ~8 years. Why aren’t more doing this?
