There are so many Scriptures that expose the oppression of the poor by the rich. In this world, the corrupt and easily corrupted are more likely to obtain wealth than the honest, hard-working Pleb. Because they have no integrity, they will steal or launder or counterfeit (or legally print) money to enrich themselves. They will receive bribes and default on loans, but never feed a hungry child.  #devotional

Those close to the money printer benefit from printer go brrr, while the rest of us suffer from the inflationary effects. This is called the Cantillon Effect. Since 1971, the wealth gap between the rich and poor has widened substantially as wealth is transferred from the poor to the rich. God is not pleased by this subtle form of theft and warns that ill-gotten gains ultimately lead to poverty.  #devotional
