I'm guilty? I've said it! and as I grow older and continue to yell at the Sky. I can comfortably say this...
I don’t want to hear:
“I hate them damned Democrats!”
“I hate them damned Republicans!”
Voters in this country are playing a team sport with no actual teams. But the players on these imaginary teams will still tell you their team is winning and the good team.
If you can’t see that the Super Bowl trophy of politics is power, not money, then you—as a fan—have been blinded by your team colors.
Sure, when you have power, you get money. And yes, money fuels the candidate. But make no mistake: the candidate craves power—and the long, lucrative road of unchecked corruption that often comes with it.
The wealth is a byproduct of power, not the other way around.
“But Bruce… I only vote for the person!”
I say: Bullshit. Prove it.
Time and time again, people say that—and time and time again, I hear the same tired complaints:
“They’re taking away our rights!”
“They’re taking away Medicare!”
“They’re taking away Social Security!”
Bullshit. You gave those things away—by surrendering to promises you knew were lies.
Inch by inch. Foot by foot. Yard by yard. Mile by mile.
The slow and methodical path is the one that lasts. And the Uni-Team—because that’s what they really are—has played the long game… and it’s working.
What results?!
Their ability to swing your emotions back and forth, over and over, just to make sure they stay in POWER.
That’s the strategy.
That’s the endgame.
