My only complaint about rainy season in El Salvador is that it doesn't last long enough. Welcome back my favorite season, smell, sound! What a gorgeous morning! β™‘ image
How can a documentary about how and why inflation comes about and the inevitable fate that befalls any economy that has debt-based currency (i.e. most of the world) be so informative, so blunt yet delicate, and also manage to leave you with not just tools, but also hope AND faith in a sparkling, brilliant new future?! What a great balance of storytelling and information infusing! In fact, we were a little too relaxed and joyful after watching what should have been an unsettling documentary that I’m wondering if @shooter , the creator, snuck in some harmonic frequencies into the super soothing soundtrack. We were lucky enough to meet him while he was in El Salvador last year and have a faint memory of discussing this. Could it be?? Anyway, watch it boys β€˜n girls, learn how these things work and get studying on how to be your own bank and you will start getting a picture how all can be SO very well!!
Our next Chatoshi open-air picnic in the park is this Saturday, as in tomorrow! We’ve been nerding out over what a community / nation might look like if it was completely self-governing by the people: How would disputes be resolved? How would grave criminal offenses be handled? And, most importantly, HOW WOULD WE EVER build ROADS?!! We talk about anything and everything in our meet-up but if higher-minded discussions about alternative ways to practice life in communities / countries is something you also enjoy, please do drop by this Saturday to the Bicentennial Park! We had a wonderful time again in our last event and the highlight for me was chatting to three wonderful men in their 50s and 60s about (drum roll) menopause! :-D So do come if you are: A tourist, a resident, a newbie, an old timer, sociable, introverted, in a great mood, in a sad mood, feeling lonely, feeling lovely and bring all of your questions along ~ about life, health, Bitcoin, cryptos, freedom, woo-woo, El Salvador or if you just need to put your feet on the earth for some grounding. This is a meet-up for people who love to talk and listen and teach and learn. Where to park your car or be dropped off by the Uber. Be sure to use Waze for traffic as this is usually more accurate in El Salvador: https://ul.waze.com/ul?ll=13.68587579%2C-89.25542738&navigate=yes&zoom=17&utm_campaign=default&utm_source=waze_website&utm_medium=lm_share_location Location of the actual picnic spot:
I guess complimenting someone on the size of their cojones the second you meet them is not terribly ladylike behavior but it’s not every day that you meet a man who doesn’t have a price and will courageously speak out despite having so much at stake! Thanks for dropping by our meetup @John Dennehy ! Your little boy is adorable and he certainly has a super-hero papa to look up to. How lucky and blessed you both are! image
