They want hatred in the heart. If looking upon a woman with lust is adultery, then malice in the heart is murder. Both will steal our light and force us into the dark. These emotions separate us from Heavenly Father.
The choice is always ours. I think that's the lesson I'm learning. It became obvious to me when reading the article and thinking about the shock and loss of what those people must be going through. The face a new battle with hatred in their hearts that rob them of their peace and their joy.
So many lights were just extinguished. Not only the lives lost. Every life in that church was just shattered by a demon of a person that had their own light extinguished long ago.
All things are Spiritual and we are locked in battle with spiritual vampires feeding off of misery. They suck the light out of others and create new spiritual vampires seeking that same end.
These poor people will want misery for the perpetrator and that's the spiritual battle they will now have to overcome in order to reconnect with Heavenly Father.
