This sounds crazy but itβs completely accurate. I just spent 6 weeks in Venezuela and I was lucky enough to learn about this exchange in the first few days. Inflation is running hot again, when I got there the official bs/usd rate was 78:1 when i left it was 94:1. In six weeks. The black market rate is around 130:1.
