Question regarding #Cashu #Ecash :
Isnt there a big risk of getting rug pulled / scammed, as the mint would theoretically be able to give out many Bitcoin IOUs without ever having the Bitcoin in reality? While when you use Lightning via e.g. LNDHub you would at least see in the lightning network, that the lightning custodial wallet provider actually has no #Bitcoin.
I just had a thought... I think AGI is the wrong goal that everyone is pursuing right now. Even artificial consciousness is still far too complex if you don't try to recreate our black box/brain in a purely deterministic way like I do. I think a much better term than #AI / #AGI would be “artificial humans”, literally a human being but in a computer. Because “artificial humans” is 1. (in my opinion) much more to the point and 2. also what we ultimately expect from AGI: Someone / something / many of them, who solve all our problems and do so at lightning speed and scalable well. Otherwise, we will have “achieved” “AGI” at some point by successfully completing the ARC-AGI test with the latest ChatGPT model, but this is still “only” a ChatGPT on steroids, where the bottleneck is the human and his prompts. “Artificial Humans” is much more appropriate: they think for themselves, have their own feelings, pursue their own goals, plan ahead, don't wait for a prompt but have what I call the ‘endless thought impulse’ and ask questions themselves. Just not with a biological “expiration date” / cellular, pre-programmed entropy
