I've been noticing off-and-on for some time (days? maybe a couple weeks? didn't pay much attention at first) that the distal joint of the ring finger on my left hand, specifically, is frequently a bit stiff/slightly sore to bend; looking at it now it seems fractionally swollen compared to neighbouring fingers. The gentle kinds of stretches frequently recommended for RSI soothe it nicely but clearly I am now two steps from the arthritic-ridden grave, it's all downhill from here.
This is the kind of absolutely unrealistic nonsense I have to put up with from my peach tree. It might be one thing if it bore little blood peaches but it has absolutely giant fruit, if I left all these on then the branches would break and the remainder would rot. So am busy today pruning and thinning the heck out of this monstrosity. image
Anyone know what a large blue ant-like creature with a yellow spot either side of its... thorax I think? might be? Was on my peach tree. I got it inside and all the way to my camera but then just as I was trying to get it into focus it proved to have wings too (of the long narrow translucent variety). @npub17ncs...9dam
Okay this article is wild firstly because of IRD's apparent position on some things they think are included in Fringe Benefit Tax, and secondly because the Deloitte tax partner who's extensively quoted goes off on a *whole* scenario about a "terrible accounting photocopier accident", I get the feeling he has some very strong feelings about this nonsense. https://www.rnz.co.nz/news/business/578240/are-hard-hats-a-work-perk
