Government stimulus doesnβt help the economy. It just temporarily alleviates public concern as people see their investments/business benefit in the short term. If youβre the party receiving the stimulus itβs good for you, but someone else is paying for it. It leads to the same problem down the road at a higher price.

Bitcoin and probably gold are the winners with this global economic havoc. People will look to safety/uncorrelated assets with all the uncertainty in the markets/global financial system. When governments come in and provide life support (liquidity), bitcoin will soak it up.
We may see more downside before we see upside for Bitcoin.
But sooner or later people realize that Bitcoin is not a risk asset, Bitcoin is the lifeboat.

Bitcoin is an immutable record of time. What if Bitcoin is a decentralized form of governance, a ledger that can be used to keep track of who owns assets (real estate, stocks, art), criminal records, societies accolades, societies rules, etc.
What if Bitcoin is the everything ledger, where all of societies information can be stored.

Iβve heard a lot of people say that Bitcoin will replace the existing monetary system, but this will take a long time (decades) to happen. I disagree.
When it becomes clear that something works better people catch on pretty quickly, especially in the internet era where information can reach everyone in a matter of seconds.
The existing monetary system is not strong. It is backed by nothing but trust, which has been lost.
Once Bitcoin appreciates against fiat currencies to a certain level I expect adoption to happen suddenly. It will become clear what is happening.
Bitcoin is the monetary system and a trust-less base layer with utility that we are yet to discover.
