National Security | Terrorism: The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) have issued a Public Service Announcement (PSA) concerning the potential for copycat attacks following an ISIS-inspired NOLA vehicle attack on New Year's Day. The PSA warned that "aspiring violent extremist attackers" favor "vehicle ramming as a tactic" and "may attempt to conceal and pre-position improvised explosive devices (IEDs) to supplement a vehicle attack" while listing potential targets as law enforcement or military members, and crowded public venues (including festivals and commercial centers).
