LOW FEES I have lowered coordinator fees to 0.1% at Over the Moon. This is a 50% reduction from the previous fee of 0.2%, which is what all other coordinators still charge at this moment in time. The maker-taker split remains the same as before, at 12.5% to the maker, 87.5% to the taker. At 0.1% total fee, this comes out to 0.0125% for makers and 0.0875% for takers. These are probably the lowest fees you will find anywhere on the p2p market. Consider that this is 1/20 of Peach's 2% fees, for example. Why am I making the change? The first 7 months of running the coordinator has been a good learning experience and I am beyond grateful for the help and support I have received. However the trading volume has not meaningfully increased despite a bull market and the lifting of initial order size restrictions. Current volume is not sufficient for this venture to be sustainable and my resources are better allocated elsewhere at this rate. For the average user, there likely has been little to differentiate between the coordinators in the federation. Hopefully the lower fees will incentivise more trades and a more even distribution of orders hosted amongst the federation.
