Finished my socks! The first time I’ve made this pattern and I won’t use it again - because they’re baggy and have a weird cable design there are a lot more stitches than usual and it used a lot of yarn. As you can see from the light blue at the end of one toe, I lost at yarn chicken 😂 #knitting

Today: - I finished the weeding of the back paths, a very tedious job, and can move onto a more interesting garden task next! - my sister called by and it was nice to catch up with her - I had a stupid fall tonight - tripped over a chair leg and hit the floor, taking down a small table and glass of water on the way 🤦🏻‍♀️ I gave Mum, who was visiting, the 2 cats, and not least myself, a big fright. But I seem to be okay except for a few aches and bruises, and now the cats are snuggling in to comfort me, or maybe themselves! #ThreeGoodThings #today

Today: - I spotted lots of baby fruit on the currant bushes and look forward to picking it in a couple of months - there was good news about a new job for a family member - it rained a little in the afternoon and there was that wonderful petrichor smell #ThreeGoodThings #today #SimplePleasures
