I am upgrading the storage and memory on a Dell Inspiron 3650 desktop computer. Going from a slow 1TB hard disk drive to a much faster Crucial 500GB SSD. Had to use SATA, as there is no m.2 connector on this model's motherboard. Will be upgrading from 8GB to 16GB. There are two memory slots on the motherboard, one was empty. PC3L memory is required (can't be the older non-L version of PC3). #dell #upgrades #ssd

I recorded a few videos on Linux Mint intro topics today. Learned a few things about audio. I didn't realize that OBS came with filters that could be applied to the audio input. I tried the first suggestion on that and it at least took out the background noise while I was not talking. My voice still has some noise in it, though. This video is an overview of the Software Manager and also how to use apt in the terminal to install software.
