One of my habits is to try to hug a tree whenever possible even if it is in a park like this one two days ago and despite curious bystanders. We had a couple of glorious sunny days, it is hailing right now. Hugging a tree is not a new agey hippy thing lol π€£ there is some science behind. It makes you release oxytocins, hormones responsible for a feeling of "bonding" and happiness. Also the esssential oils emmanated by some trees are relaxing.
It always lifts my spirits.
